Women’s Bank – Launch

Come celebrate and support the launch of The Bees Women’s Bank on Tuesday April 9, 2013, with the viewing of a short film on the lives of a group of Mayan women in the highlands of Southern Mexico. The twenty minute doco follows the women’s inspirational efforts to rid their lands of the Mexican military and to set up their own ‘Women’s Bank.’ It has been made by The Bees Video team that PDA helped set up and continues to support.

Funds raised from the event will be used to support The Bees Women’s Bank. Even if you can’t make the event, please consider making a donation to the Women’s Bank. See Details at Women’s Project. You can also look at what you might like to support. Perhaps you and your family could support a group of women. PDA will keep you informed of the progress of the group.
